Apart from the above information, we save information on the status and the quantity of transferred data in relation to this access request, but also data regarding your browser and its version and operating system information.

In this regard, the IP address of your computer system will be stored only for the period during which you actually use our website and it will be immediately erased and/or anonymised based on shortening once you no longer use the websites.

All the other data will be stored for a limited period of time. We use such data for the purpose of operating our website, that is, in particular, for the purpose of identifying and removing any website errors, of determining website utilisation levels and for making any website adjustments or enhancements (legal basis: sentence 1 of point (f) of Art. 6(1) GDPR).

GOOGLE ANALYTICS

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “Cookies,” text files that are stored on your computer and that allow an analysis of your use of the website. Information on the cookies used within the scope of use of Google Analytics can be found in our cookie banner under “Google Analytics. “

On behalf of the owner of this website, Google uses this data to evaluate your usage of the website, to generate reports on website activity, and to provide other services related to website and internet usage for the website owner. Google does not combine the IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics with other data. You can prevent the storage of cookies through a setting in your browser software; however, in this case, you will not be able to fully utilize all functions of this website. You can also prevent Google from capturing and processing the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (incl. your IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link [http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de]. Alternatively, you can withdraw your consent by clicking on <a href=”javascript:gaOptout()”>Google Analytics per Opt-Out-Cookie deaktivieren</a> (Opt-Out-Cookie).

This website uses Google Analytics with the extension „_anonymizeIp()“. With this service, IP addresses are shortened to eliminate direct reference to an individual. We use Google Analytics to enable us to analyze and continually improve the use of our website. The statistics obtained allow us to improve our offering and make it more interesting for users. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1a of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).

Further information on the use of data by Google and setting and withdrawal options can be found on the websites of Google: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de&ref_topic=2919631

GOOGLE ADWORDS CONVERSION TRACKING

We use the Google AdWords service to draw attention to our offerings on external websites using advertisements (so-called Google AdWords). By analyzing the data from our advertising campaigns, we can determine how successful individual advertising measures are. Our goal is to display advertisements that are relevant to your interests, make our website more engaging, and ensure fair cost calculation for advertising.

These advertisements are delivered by Google via “Ad Servers.” For this purpose, we use Ad Server cookies, which measure specific performance parameters such as ad impressions or user clicks. If you access our website via a Google ad, a cookie is stored on your device by Google AdWords. These cookies usually expire after 30 days and are not intended to identify you personally. They typically store data such as the unique cookie ID, the number of ad impressions per placement (frequency), the last impression (important for post-view conversions), and opt-out information (indicating the user no longer wants to be targeted).

These cookies allow Google to recognize your internet browser. If a user visits specific pages on the website of an AdWords customer and the cookie stored on their device has not expired, Google and the customer can identify that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to that page. Each AdWords customer receives a unique cookie, meaning cookies cannot be tracked across AdWords customers’ websites.

We do not collect or process any personal data through these advertising measures. Google only provides us with aggregated statistical analyses, which help us identify which advertisements are most effective. We do not receive any additional data from the use of these ads and cannot identify users based on this information.

When using these marketing tools, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with Google’s server. We have no control over the extent and further use of the data collected by Google through this tool. To the best of our knowledge, the integration of AdWords Conversion allows Google to know that you visited a specific part of our website or clicked on one of our ads. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can associate your visit with your account. Even if you are not registered or logged in with Google, there is a possibility that the provider may obtain and store your IP address.

How to Opt Out of Tracking

You can prevent participation in this tracking process in various ways:

  1. By not consenting to the use of cookies for marketing purposes via the cookie consent banner.
  2. By adjusting your browser settings to block third-party cookies, preventing advertisements from third-party providers.
  3. By deactivating cookies for conversion tracking by blocking cookies from the domain “www.googleadservices.com” in your browser settings (https://www.google.de/settings/ads). Note: This setting may be removed if you delete your cookies.
  4. By deactivating interest-based ads from providers that are part of the “About Ads” self-regulation campaign via http://www.aboutads.info/choices. Note: This setting may also be removed if you delete your cookies.
  5. By permanently deactivating ads in your browsers (Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Google Chrome) using the plugin available at http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin.

Please note that disabling these options may limit your ability to use all the features of this website.

The legal basis for processing your data is your consent, provided via the cookie notification window (under “Marketing”), in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

For more information about Google’s data protection practices, visit: http://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy.

If data is transferred to Google LLC (USA), this is based on the EU Commission’s adequacy decision regarding the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

GOOGLE TAG MANAGER

This website uses the Google Tag Manager Google Tag Manager, which is offered by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (‘Google’).

This service enables the management of components that are used on the website. It is possible that these managed components process personal data or use cookies, which may require consent. Information on data processing by these components can be found in this privacy policy.

The Google Tag Manager itself does not collect any personal data. The service also does not access the content of the managed components or set or process cookies itself.

EMBEDED CONTENT FROM THIRD PARTIES (E.G. GOOGLE MAPS)

If content from third-party providers such as Google Maps or YouTube is displayed on our websites, your IP address and the content shown under ‘Logfiles’ must be transmitted to the third-party provider in order for this content to be made available and displayed in your browser. This serves the purpose of an appealing presentation of our website. The legal basis for the processing is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR via the cookie notice window (under ‘Functionality’). We have no influence on data processing by the third-party provider. If you are logged into a user account with the third-party provider, the third-party provider can assign your user behaviour to your user account. The third-party provider may store your data as a user profile and use it for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or customising its website. You must contact the third-party provider if you wish to object to the creation of these user profiles.
Further information on the purpose and scope of data collection and its processing by the third-party provider can be found in their privacy policy. There you will also find further information on your rights and setting options to protect your privacy:

  • Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/?hl=de. Cookies: NAME OF COOKIE, PURPOSE, STORAGE PERIOD, LEGAL BASIS
