User-friendly functions and a comprehensive additional offer of tool data<\/strong><\/p>\n

It has been two and a half years since the online shop of ZECHA Hartmetall-Werkzeugfabrikation GmbH was launched. Two and a half years of confirmation for a webshop in the field of precision micro cutting, stamping, and shaping tools. Two and a half years to gain experience, plan extensions, and complete optimizations \u2013 all with the aim of providing an intuitive, user-friendly ordering and (technical?) service platform.<\/p>\n

Ordering a tool online may be easy but selecting the right tool for your specific application and implementing it properly in practice can become a challenge online. For this reason, additional information about the tool and its use is of central importance.<\/p>\n

Tool filter improved<\/strong><\/p>\n

To find the ideal tool for the application among the many tools that are available, the dynamically designed tool finder supports users with their tool selection. For even more specific results, the tool finder has been enhanced with additional filter values \u2013 e.g., carbon, lead-free brass, and copper beryllium under materials, shaft cooling in cooling solutions, or the corner radius, the insert depth, or free length for free input. \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Choice of ordering methods\/options<\/strong><\/p>\n

For quicker filling of shopping carts, existing functions such as saving the cart, uploading the cart via csv file, or quick capturing of items, offer a variety of ways to order. With the updated fast entry screen, prices and availability of entered item numbers can now be seen immediately instead of first being viewable in the cart, as was previously necessary.<\/p>\n

Another innovation is the “Action Items” menu tab, which displays technically updated items or items that are being discontinued.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Until now, visitors to the ZECHAshop could choose between German and English. As part of the current upgrade, a third language choice has been added: all content in the ZECHAshop is now available also in French.<\/p>\n

Single login for cutting data calculator & ZECHAshop<\/strong><\/p>\n

Those searching for the right tool use parameters were previously able to find them using two different approaches: either directly in the cutting data calculator area or in the ZECHAshop via link to the cutting data calculator.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the ZECHAshop update, the cutting data calculator is now fully integrated into the online shop and users can benefit from the extensive functions of the ZECHAshop and the cutting data calculator via a single access. The special highlight of this innovation is that, based on the company’s individual structure, not only can any number of employees be registered under one customer number, but it is also possible to choose between the two access types \u2013 with or without an order function.<\/p>\n

In addition to the corresponding tool parameters \u2013 such as cutting speed, feed rate, or rotational speed, for example \u2013 for easy integration into CAD programs, DXF, STP, and now XML files are also available for download.<\/p>\n
